Australian expatriate Marten Hubbeling is managing director of DMC Bali more - a one-stop, comprehensive meeting, Incentive, Convention and exhibition (MICE) supplier in Bali. He explains his business trip for us, and reveals a place next to the exciting live music is involved with the opening in 2016.
I went to live in Bali since 1995 and worked in various companies in the off-road horse riding rafting, and even Volkswagen visits!
When DMC was founded more Bali and what was the driving force behind the design?
We founded the company in 2002 and our goal was to be the best MICE business in Bali.
Can you speak exclusive tours do you offer?
We have general visits, like other travel services, we offer tours with a twist, combining exclusive locations with local interaction. We were one of the first companies to use open-top VWs in Bali, we still offer because it provides our customers with the right amount of surprise and luxury, while embracing local village life.
More Bali DMC also offers team building outings, ranging from CSR to MASTERCHEF bumper bullets, and some your customers include UOB bank BNI bank and Shell. Can you please explain how the outputs can benefit a business?
We have a team building arm of the company, which has a variety of programs. Customers who want to make the connection fun team challenges that give good memories would enjoy these programs. Our social responsibility (CSR) visits helped many orphanages in recent years, renovation of schools or provide gifts and interact with children who really need help.
where your customers come primarily from and do you get outside companies to come to Bali to experience your team out?
We cater to local customers and overseas who come from all over the world: Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, England, Greece, the Middle East , South Africa, Italy, Belgium and France

It is probably a mixture of all - cycling is a fantastic addition to our group tours in recent years and rafting is another turn we strongly recommend
How many staff do you have in your team? What is the most challenging aspect of their work day to day?
We have 12 members of the office staff, plus an army operational staff. As the team was with me for a long time, there is no real surprises are prepared for any type of group. Our customers are very particular and therefore the programs will also be different from group to group.
Can you tell us what changes or developments you have noticed in the travel industry in recent years and what challenges you face, if any?
Well, certainly the Internet has affected most companies, as customers will research destinations before making a decision on lodging, restaurants and others. But for us who also had an advantage that we received probably 60 percent of our past activities of two years from the Internet.

What DMC Bali offers more than other tour companies and travel do not?
We offer all our services in-house and most of our employees have a long history of handling groups from all regions of the world, where we are really adapted to provide groups what they need .
Can you tell us about one of the big companies that have booked with you?
We manage Yahoo! at the end of the year, we organized four years ago. They approached us again this year to create another memorable event.

Watch out for 737, a place of the event with a stunning opening concept? next year. We will be one of the places with the most versatile events of Bali; a real destination to go. In your eyes, which makes Bali a great destination to travel?
This is one of the most impressive places to visit. People, resorts, restaurants, beaches, bars and package the whole island, it is, in my opinion, one of the ultimate destinations in Asia. My partners and I are committed to developing tourism projects on the island.
