I just France, Grenoble, near the Alps.
Lovely, and how did you wind up in Jakarta?
I started in the military overseas working at Economic Department of the French Embassy, in charge of ITC market. For many years, I am an IT consultant working for different companies or organizations, as having my IT Company in France. I am mainly involved in Web IT projects and, more recently, we created Laser Game Indonesia!
Laser Game is a company quite unusual to have. Where did the idea that you were one of the founders?
Yes, I am "part of the game" with my few friends who also love the game. The idea came long ago because I love the game and I was looking this kind of entertainment shortly after my arrival in Jakarta. sure, Jakarta needs entertainment, needs a playground, not a lot of green space either. So we started sharing the idea, gathering the details with friends, talking, then we are here! We believe that there are not enough active play indoors for young people. What is there are outdoor games and Indonesians are not too crazy about outdoor activities.
Just in case any of our readers do not know, what is Laser Game?
Laser game is a nice indoor play gun using the highest technology available, such as infrared, sensors and software. We are friendly because it is not painful, not messy, and certainly not the sun. It is inside, with music and you play the game in a spaceship or the Tron-oriented design. All glow in the dark. Very funny! Play "solo" or teams!
Is Laser Game more popular among children, or may shy young adults play too?
Our clients range from children (minimum 8 years) for active adults, boys and girls, men and women. It is a very welcoming place for a birthday or corporate events. The staff and the boss can shoot each other! We have facilities as VIP .
Kemang seems to have it all, with restaurants, bars, shops, galleries and now you have introduced Laser Game . How is business in this area for you?
We looked around Jakarta Selatan for the right place to open Laser Game. We are pleased that we actually did in Kemang. Kemang is a fashionable place for the business lifestyle.
How do you see the Kemang area developing in the future?
I wish it stays trendy. Of course, it has to do with the local government to traffic not so bad.
Do you plan to expand? I hear Bali has yet to open something like ...
course. We are now planning the second center in Jakarta more ...
If you could do something on the weekend in the city, which would it?
I would say just now ... Laser Game and Laser Golf! It is very relaxing and is the first within Mini Golf in Indonesia, which glows in the dark and is accompanied by the music of the hip (2nd floor). There is a private room that you can rent if you are in a group and have your own drinks and snacks. You can even do karaoke in it.
