After a long career working for large companies worldwide, Frank Findlow, as many successful businessmen are, came to much his life when he thought he had achieved all he had and it was time to retire. But it took only a few months of retirement for Findlow to realize his work was not yet finished.

While living and working in Jakarta for the giant logistics Linfox, Findlow began to spend holiday in Bali with his wife, Elana. They soon realized how much they loved the island and decided to plan their retirement and build a house in Bali.
"Bali is a beautiful place," said Findlow, "with idyllic scenery and interesting people. I guess most people sit and enjoy the sun with a drink in hand in an atmosphere of relaxation ".
But Frank Findlow is not most people. He had enjoyed his time climbing the corporate ranks as ICI, HJ Heinz and Linfox, and spent much of his career honing his skills and learn to recognize what he regularly refers to as "what looks good as" in the world of international logistics.
But it took only a few months of retirement for him to realize his work-life ambitions are not yet met.
"I spent the first few months thinking I'd died and gone to heaven! But something was missing. I felt as if I had not quite achieved everything I wanted in my professional career.
"it took me a while, but it occurred to me. First, I had never had the satisfaction of working for myself, and secondly, after years working in Indonesia I knew I could make a difference in the evolution of the industry the booming logistics in the region. "

in the 60s, Findlow started as an apprentice at the chemical giant ICI in his home town of Runcorn, in north-west England, before deciding that he needed to expand his career horizons. he and Elana decided to emigrate.

"I work all over the world, and in many of these places I have seen what looks good as in the logistics sector: warehouses that operate like well-oiled machines; supply chains ranging from manufacturing to the consumer without a hitch; fleets of trucks get to their destination on time. And I think there is a possibility of raising many supply chains in Indonesia to reach this level.
"I want to show companies here what good looks and tell them how they can get the same results as their main competitors."
The vision is that Findlow Triple FEP Consulting assist both novice local Indonesian companies and multinational companies hoping to expand into Indonesia. "I know that my experience of living and working in Indonesia gives me an advantage over many other companies that offer consulting services," he said.

Findlow is blunt on the investment needed to improve infrastructure in the region, saying, "Indonesia Logistics costs are among the highest in ASEAN, and things must change if the region wants to attract more investors. "
Findlow agrees with the recommendations of the ILA, and said he looks forward to working with companies to propose solutions to address costs of logistics and navigate the changing economic landscape in the region.
After so many years working for large companies, Findlow said he can not wait to start that all formalities administration to set up Triple FEP is completed. "After working for many large multinationals, starting a business of my own is a great feeling.
"I live and work in a place that I think is heaven on earth and I am my own boss doing what I do best. It can not do better than that"
